The National contest of Local Food Products is a valuable tool for promoting a country’s agro-food heritage. The methodology for setting up a National Contest has been developed by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the Interjurassian Rural Foundation (FRI) within the framework of the project PAMPAT (“Project for market access facilitation for typical agri-food products” which is funded by the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), based on the Swiss model, then adapted to the Moroccan and Tunisian context.
